At Regional Geotechnical Solutions is heavily involved in investigation, design, and provision of road rehabilitation construction advice to Local Government bodies and contractors throughout Northern NSW.  Our involvement includes training of Council staff in some locations to undertake their own investigation and design work in consultation with RGS.  Our investigation and design methodology aims to maximise the potential use of existing road pavement through a range of remedial measures including stabilisation, overlay, and patching.  The work is undertaken with a view to optimising cost effectiveness of the rehabilitation within the asset management framework, and providing a distinct alternative between low cost but short term solutions, and those aimed at achieving a longer design life.
